The Ginintuang Masaganang Ani - High Value Commercial
Crops Program (GMA-HVCC) is a priority program of the Department
of Agriuculture, created to address the priority concerns of
the government on food security and poverty alleviation.
The current activities of the Program
are in support of the following:
Goal 1:
Development of 2 million hectares of new agribusiness lands and
generation of 2 million jobs.
Goal 2: Reduction of cost of
wage goods through productivity enhancement, more efficient logistics
and improved retailing linkages.
